A new system can underperform its own rating if sizing and line set details aren't handled correctly. Every quote includes a real cooling load assessment before equipment is selected.
New AC installs miss their rated SEER2 efficiency more often than people realize, usually from oversizing or a mismatched line set. We follow real numbers, not the easiest install.
What we don't cut corners on.
We calculate before we recommend.
A range of efficiency tiers lets you weigh upfront cost against long-term savings to fit different budgets.
The installation itself is warrantied in writing.
We size and run lines to spec, since a bad run quietly kills efficiency.
From load calculation to startup commissioning.
We assess insulation, window exposure, and orientation to calculate correct tonnage, not a generic estimate.
We walk through efficiency options clearly, not marketing language.
We follow the spec, avoiding efficiency losses from a poor run.
Units get placed away from heat traps and debris for airflow and noise, not just wherever's convenient.
We test before calling it done, not just assumed correct.
Removal and disposal follow EPA rules.
Four steps from assessment to cold air.
We book an in-person cooling load assessment, since accurate sizing can't be done by phone.
A tech shows up with assessment equipment and evaluates the home for a direct evaluation.
The quote includes several SEER2 efficiency tiers based on your actual load numbers.
We install, verify performance, and back the work in writing.
Feedback from completed AC installation projects.
Compared quotes from four companies before deciding. This was the only one that showed me actual Manual J numbers instead of a flat price sheet.

We wanted the quietest unit available since our bedroom windows face the side yard where it sits. They steered us toward a model rated specifically for noise.
— I. Adeyinka, homeowner
Had a mini-split installed in a converted garage that never had ductwork. Clean install, didn't have to cut into any walls we cared about.

Installed new rooftop units at two of our retail locations within the same week. Consistent process and pricing at both sites.

What people ask before installing.
An accurate size comes from an in-home load calculation, not square footage alone is the only reliable way to size correctly.
Whether it pays off depends on a few factors we cover at quote time.
A typical install wraps up in one day, longer for complex line runs.
Removed and disposed of with proper refrigerant recovery, to EPA standard.
Yes, both ducted and ductless options are available, chosen based on the property.
Installation mistakes are our responsibility to correct, free of charge, on top of whatever the manufacturer covers on the equipment itself.
Our coverage spans Ames and nearby zips shown here — call to schedule.
